Good video. I just bought one of the lathe knives used on the outside of the dolls for spindle work. Works a treat.

I've seen that video before. It inspired me to get the lathe knife. I found a guy in Ireland who started making them, because of another video we both saw. These lathe knives work really well.

Very interesting. My son got my wife and I a set of these when he was in Russia 20 years ago. Kinda glad I don't have to work in a shop like these people did. That shop would never pass OSHA standards for safety.

Here is an interesting concept on the lathe knife. It is a blade interchangeable with a carbide bit.
