Using G10?

I was looking at a knie making site and saw .02 G10 strips in lots of cool colors. Anyone ever use G10?

It is fibreglass and resin, so it is tough. The dust from it is very bad to breath. I have no idea how it turns but suspect you'll have to sharpen HSS a little more often.

I've used old credit cards and thin sheets of metal, don't see why it would be a problem. Try it out.

Definitely mask up when cutting, turning, and sanding G10. You don't want the glass fibers in your lungs.

If it is like other fiberglass you want to wear long sleeves and gloves cause that stuff will make itch like you have poison ivy.
