Transfer Punches

I was in HF today while I was getting a rock chip fixed in my car and saw that they had the 28 (I think) Transfer punches that a lot of us use to disasemble pens on sale for 5.99. It is a great deal if you can go get them.

I don't know the answer to your question; but you may not want either of those chucks. Be sure to check that they are threaded to fit on your lathe. One is threaded 3/4" x 10 and the other is not mentioned.

Other issue is that both of those chucks appear to have jaws that are independently adjustable.....not real convenient to use. Most pen turners spring for a scroll chuck where the jaws all move at the same time. They are quite a bit more expensive; but a better tool for the type of work that most of us do.
