I just recieved a pen in the mail today from Russ Fairfield. It was shown in his post describing the tipless slimline with the metal nib buried inside.

The picture shows a cedar pen and then a Desert Ironwood pen underneath. Russ sent me the Desert Ironwood pen! The photo does not do the pen any justice. The finish is flawless. And the grain on the wood has a depth not seen in the photo. This is a great pen.

Now I have to work a little harder on my prototype to send.....I will keep you posted.
