This is my second attempt at the pepper grinder and salt shaker kit from Woodcraft. It is a 4" pepper grinder and it is made out of padauk. This is for a Christmas gift. In the picture it looks like the top of the grinder is not matched up very good, but it actually is lined up perfect. I'm not sure why it looks that way. Anyway, thanks for looking and as always comments are welcome.

The reason the grain does not exactly match up is due to the kerf created by cutting the top from the bottom. Happens all the time. Good job on them, they look good.

Mark,
Glad you have joined the peppergrinder/salt shaker family! Looks good...keep it up. It will add some spice (literally) to your pen display!

Never seen a small peper mill, looks nice, color and finish is warm looking, perfect for dinner setting. I may try one.
You know to make it look more of a matched set shape wise,
Dont know if you can tapper off pepper top to match the salt. Or fatten up the salt shaker top.
