Greetings
My 88 year old father passed away today. He taught me everything I know like dedication, hard work, working with my hands and my mind. He put me thru college so I wouldn't have to work like he did. My mother and he were married for 63 years.

I remember when he bought his South Bend 9 inch lathe. We turned stuff together as he taught me how to use it. We made a hammer together that I still have on the peg board in my shop. He helped me make my first pen then we took up the hobby making pens and sharing our techniques.

I really really miss him.

Mike

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. It never gets better, you will always miss him but you will learn to live with it. Sounds like you've got some really really nice memories to help you. Take care

Sorry for your loss remember he lives on in your heart.

A reminder to all to keep in touch with those we cherish.
