Once again I add myself to the retired rank and file.. Went back to the Sheriff dept. in November of 14 got hurt in Aug. and had surgery in Oct 15 My knee will never be the same as before injury. So I decided to retire again and start back doing what I love to do making pens for the troops.. I haven't been in the shop since I got hurt but starting next week I will resume my position in front of the lathe.... So if any one wants to come and join me my door is open..

My dad is in the same boat as you and he will likely take up pen turning to keep sane during the cold winter months where he and mom live.
