Just thought I`de show you what I do with shavings.
Mix the shavings with candle butts and then melt them together.
Spoon onto newspaper, fold and leave to cool.
Perfect firestarters.
Certain woods do produce a wonderful aroma, Hickory, Olive, etc.
Also, a very good salespoint here in Germany, where everybody is so hot about recycling.
