Just some thoughts for today.
"Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing."--Helen Keller

'I dread success. To have succeeded is to have finished one's business on earth, like the male spider, who is killed by the female the moment he has succeeded in his courtship. I like a state of continual becoming, with a goal in front and not behind.'-- George Bernard Shaw

“Even if you sleep in a thousand-mat room, you can only sleep on one mat.†-- Japanese Proverb

'Every man is guilty of all the good he didn't do.' -- Voltaire (1694-1778)

'Many eyes go through the meadow, but few see the flowers in it.' - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Here is a link to a neat little story. It is good reading about seeing what you have where you are at. It is titled 'Acres of Diamonds'

This is also a neat site. (No relation)

Great quotes, Paul. If I may be so bold, I would like to add the one my late mother always told me:

Bloom where you are planted.

It likely has another original source, but to me it is Mama's.
