posting pictures from google photos

I have not been able to get photos to post in a forum since google changed from picasa to google photos. Anyone out there able to successfully post pictures from google photos here>

I download my camera photos directly to my laptop. I can then access them directly from my "Pictures" and download to the post. So simple even I can do it!

I'm trying to get photos from a smartphone. The SD card is not easy to access...in the battery compartment of the phone. Otherwise I would just take out the SD card and put it in the laptop.
