Hey all,

I'm looking for some ideas for a single pen display for use on a desk. The pens I will be using are shown in the picture and I think they are too big for one of those 'pen tubes'.
The pens are made from the original maple flooring from the grade school that two of the chiefs on my fire dept went to. I have a few more pieces of the floor and I thought it would be cool to incorporate that wood into the display. I also thought about incorporating a slot for holding business cards.
Anyone have any pictures or ideas?

Thanks!

I haven't done this myself but a couple of my custs say they leave their pen in the open pen box (which I make) and it acts as a display.

Pen display Idea

Hi Doug,
If you are still looking for pen display ideas for a desk, here is a sample of a pen and pencil set I made out of 40 year old plum. You'll be able to use the maple flooring as a base to hold your pen by installing 1 insert in the middle of the turning. I use an expanding chuck to turn the base and glue in book shelf pins in the bottom to tilt the base. I hope this helps you out.

Thanks
Ed
