Oregon Salmon fishing?

My son and I are thinking about a trip to Oregon. I know...it is a bit late but he is a last year surgery resident in NYC and was just assigned his vacation which is the last week of October and First week of Nov.

Question: Does anyone have any info or contacts for salmon fishing in Oregon? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

Spend some time in Newport. Eat at Mo's (on the bayfront) for clam chowder. While you are there, you will be able to fish all you like. Do you enjoy crab? Nothing better than fresh Dungeness crab. Newport is the Dungeness crab captiol of the world. You will enjoy your time there, it is an awesome place.
