oil lamp turned on a jet mini

I turned this last week. The oil lamp is from woodturners catalog, in their closeout section. the wood is oregon myrtlewood. My lathe is a jet mini.
the base from the bottom to top measures 3" to 4 1/2" at the widest part. the turned wood is about 5" tall.
so far this piece is the most figured that i have found.
I enjoy turning oregon myrtlewood. I like the smell of the chips flying and its easy to turn.

Good looking lamp. How far down into the lamp does the oil reservoir go?
