Ohio - IAP Picnic Pics

Today from 2:00 PM - 7:45 PM Bob and Joanne Jackson hosted a wonderful picnic. Last year there were 4, this year 13 (including 5 spouses). Not too shabby!!! (Magicbob, we missed your culinary talents!)

Bob instructed from start to finished pen - Polymer clay!!! (Yup, the male penturners were elbowed out by their spouses - they had a BLAST, and each left after making their own pen) . With each spouse having made their own pen... The guys left with equally smug looks!

Thanks for the pics Mark. It was a good time and yes my wife was one who enjoyed making her own polymer clay blank! See everyone in the Fall for our next meeting.

I need to add a few random comments after the OP.

- It is awesome to have as dedicated a "Pitbull" as Bob Jackson to get the Ohio Chapter started.

- It is awesome that Bob as well as others are so willing to teach/share/mentor us newbies.

- Before and after the "Pen Activities", when all 13 of us were just chatting about our lives, our families, our children, issues in life, etc... There was a great atmosphere (not IAP, not penturning, just folks/kids/jobs, etc).

- It was a wonderful afternoon to see a few spouses enjoy and really get involved in our passion (It seemed like a very willing plunge - Bob is a GREAT Polymer Clay Instructor).

It was a wonderful day and learned a lot. Wish my wife could of come but she stayed with our little one. She is awesome.
