What a GREAT day!!!
I thought I'd start a separate thread instead of going on the back page of the initial chapter thread.
- Thank you to Bob Jackson and his bride for being such gracious hosts. Joanne (Bob's bride) celebrated her "32" birthday today and graciously allowed a bunch of old bald guys in flannel and blue jeans to invade her homestead!
- Thank you to Magicbob for the grill mastery so we had no want of food.
- Thank you to Bob Jackson who displayed his polymer clay mastery and did not do a simple demo - he did a demo then had everyone who wanted to, to make a complete PC blank from start to finish including the bake time in his beautiful toaster oven.
Lots of freebies, lots of jokes, lots of great conversation.
Welcome to Thad - a newer IAP member from Painesville, OH. And a great welcome to Ernie Borraga who travelled from Louisville, KY; Jim 15 from Hamilton, OH; and Tom and Becky Bell (M4skinner) who travelled from Zanesville, OH.
Magicbob's burgers were good enough to lure folks from 200-300 miles away!!!
To all who missed the party - pictures to prove it did happen!
Some names for faces:
#1: Tom Bell, Bob Jackson, Jim15, Thad, Becky Bell
#2: Magicbob, Jeff, Argo13, Eborraga
#3: Bob Jackson's pens
#4: Freebies
#5: Notice the EMPTY containers...
To all who attended - It was a great day! Joanne, Happy Birthday!!! Bob and Bob - Thanks for all you do!
Great day in I-A-P O-H-I-O!
PS: I think Bob Jackson needs more tools hanging from his walls!
