I had a neighbor stop by on Saturday morning and ask if I wanted a Bradfor Pear tree. A friend of his had one being taken down because it was messing up his pool...
It was about 16" in diameter and I got about 6' of the trunk and some bigger branches as payment for the use of my chain saw.
I cut about a dozen bowl blanks and lots of spindle and end grain turning pieces.
