Curly Maple with rosewood finials. The top is a little askew since they are not yet glued or finished since I may be getting the bulb engraved.

These are my birdhouse ornaments that I have done. l-r; curly maple with walnut perch and roof, sapelle with maple(?) roof (I call this one my "asian inspired" ornament), last is canary wood with walnut perch and roof. First two don't have any finish yet. The order they were done in is R to L.

I have to thank BigRob for a lot of these blanks. They are from his ornament stock advertised on here.

As always comments welcome.

Thanks guys. I really enjoy turning these. Still don't get consistant wall thickness when hollowing through the hole though, of course that could be due to the lack of patience I seem to get once in awhile.

Kevin,
I like the birdhouses, especially the Asian inspired middle one. Then my next one is the maple burl, with cedar. Very nice work!
I'm happy to see the wood turned into something beautiful and beyond my current abilities.
