Instant Petrification

I was doing a google search for Gidgee wood and somehow I came acros an article on Instant Petrification. Sort of like the normal staiblization process, with harder results.

I have no idea how this got on to a bible related web site but it does relate to wood working. Might be interesting to try on a semi-finished pen.

The site which is quoted in the above post is a Christian Creationist website which takes the stance that the universe is young (thousands of years versus billions of years). They have a lot of interesting topics which put up a pretty good case for their beliefs. Evolutionists believe that petrification occurred over millions or billions of years whereas creationists believe the petrification process does not take near as long (days to months). They also publish a very informative magazine (Creation Magazine).
They have a museum in Kentucky. I believe this ministry originated in Australia and was started by Ken Hamm.
