Saw this beautiful piece of machinery on my way to lunch and had to stop to take a pic. Too bad it wasn't fully in the sun. There was another older gentleman that stopped to ogle over it too.

Saw a T-bucket when I was a kid in Ohio in the early 60s. Had a 327 Corvette engine with a huge 4 bbl. carb and street slicks. $1500 for it. Dad wouldn't spring for the cash.
Do you old timers remember the 60s TV show, 77 Sunset Strip? Ed "Kookie" Byrnes' T- bucket rod was advertised in Hot Rod magazine. All of our gang drooled over it- asking $1500 for it.

I had a chance to get a Superbird when I was a Navy boy back in the 80s for $11K but wifey said no. I've seen them going at Barret-Jackson for upwards of $200K. That's the only time I ever listened to her when I shouldn't have

My father had an opportunity, in the 60s, to buy a Ford Model T of 1920s vintage for $500. It was in great shape but my mother said it was just a piece of junk! What would it be worth now? We missed an Edsel by two weeks- $2400. :crying:
