I have a neighbor who's gonna cut down some box elder trees. One of the trees is about 4ft. in diameter and the whole base is burls. There's about 8 burl in the base each is about 1ft. in diameter. Further up in the tree there's about 5 more. 2 of the bottom ones are heavily spalted. I'm gonna see if she'll let me have em. If I get em,I'll post a pic and try to sell them. Can't wait!:D:D

Jared ... I too would like to be on your list for a piece of these trees and need prices first and maybe some photographs as well. Anything up to 16" in diameter by about 10" thick. I am set up to turn bowls right now and need some serious wood. Please advise if you do get your hands on this wood. I don't care if they are green or what as I can treat them myself. Just seal the ends with wax or latex paint and NOTHING else if possible. Bark on would be acceptable as I also do natural edge bowls.

I wish you Good Luck on getting them. :D
