What is the name of the wood that is yellow and usually sold as a root or burl?????

Is Agarita bush what you are thinking about since you are in Texas?

Berry, I have a stash in the shop. What spurred this is I’m at a show today and had a customer ask what wood a pen was and I couldn’t remember agarita.
