Supposedly my Father's family are Welsh (came to the USA around 1890's). Most passed away before I could inquire.

So... Tomorrow will be Bangers and Mash :). (When my better half is away next weekend it will be Corned Beef/Cabbage - not her favorite )

Tonight, either Guinness or Kilbeggan or Highland Park or Haig Club or...

My daughter is either a waitress or bartender tomorrow at the bar, and wanted a St Patricks Day Pen.

So, What is everyone else having???

I really like Scottish Ales, once made the mistake of requesting a "good Scottish ale" at an Irish pub. It was in Las Vegas, so I wasn't thrown out, but learned a valuable lesson. Anyway, I'll probably end up with some Guinness. BTW, beautiful pen!

Could be worse... A college friend of mine tried to order an Irish Car Bomb shot (Baileys and Jameson dropped into a glass of Guinness) at a pub while on vacation in Ireland. It did not sound like the patrons took too kindly to that... He learned the hard way that's quite offensive across the pond.

And yes, gorgeous pen!

That is a very nice looking pen. I really like the details and color combo.
I have the name and the DNA but cant stand the food. Well maybe fish and chips. You can have the rest.

Thank you for the kinds remarks, Len.

I believe it was Dunluce Castle restoration: https://www.google.com/maps/place/D...0a91dc5612d9ab8!8m2!3d55.2107119!4d-6.5796089

I'll have to think about the blank source.

I suspect it is this: https://www.bereahardwoods.com/pen-kit/sets/electric-green-acrylic-pen-blank.html

Very nice Mark! Is that a Triton with a custom "Mark James St. Paddy's Day" package?

G'Day Jay!

My memory fails me these days, but I believe it is a modified Jr Gent II. I ground down the upper blank insert for the fit to the lower tube/blank. The rest is simply a double closed ended pen - Easy peasy! The rolly stopper cost about .10 cents.

My daughter would not take it to work as she suspected that it would not survive the evening. Sigh... I told her I knew where another could come from.

Be well, Cheers, Mark
