I have come across a General 26020 Electronic VS lathe with reverse. Would be purchasing it from the original owner who bought it in 1999. He had it shipped straight from the factory in Canada. I believe they quit making these lathes in 2012 from what I see on the internet.

What do you think a decent price would be for something like this?

Anyone have one, if so how do you like it? It looks like an over grown Delta or Rockwell with heavy cast iron construction and weighs in at 562 pounds.

Thanks

General lathe

Robert:
I have been turning on a General 260 for over thirty years, great lathe.
Mine is not a variable speed,, have very large bowl lathe with variable spends with reversing.

So if the 26020 lathe electronics are in good working order, offer $1500
You won't be sorry.

Cheers
