Gary Max

Some may recognize that name, some may not. Gary introduced me into wood turning 14 years ago. I frequent his place in the stick's every few month's. I spent the weekend with him and Margie. I also left with a load of Cedar and Claro Walnut! Thought i'd post a pic for the old timers on here.

Gary is still Gary, just a little older and health not as good as it once was. Margie is still making all of her toy's and instarsia work.

Say Hello to Garyfor me when you see him again. I got some unusual walnut burl pen blanks just before he dropped off the forum. And one of them has had an unusual story as it got passed as a gift to a person 200 miles away and later made its way back to my wife.

Funny you mention Walnut. Gary made me take this home. 2.5 square by 48 inches

Good to see Gary still on his feet. I think I got some Locust fence post wood from him just about 8 years ago. Miss his posts.
