Yup, we spent 7 hours today cleaning up downed limbs, felling damaged trees, and moving brush. We got about 10% of what needs doing, I'd guess. Yesterday afternoon when the wind came up, the power was blinking out for 5-10 seconds at a time 2-3 times a minute for almost an hour before it went down for the count. Cooked dinner over a fire, lit the kerosene heater, fired up the gas lanterns, and then got ready for bed. Just as we were about to go to sleep, the power came back on about 6 hours after it had gone off.

Looks to be American Sweetgum.....at least they can't drop anymore of those 'balls' on the ground(trying to find a positive side to the story here).

Fences can be repaired/replaced, glad it didn't hit your house.
