Just thought I would share what PenGoblin has been doing since January. She didn't get to work on the "build" of the robot as much as she had hoped but is learning and having a lot of fun. She has missed spending time in the garage but has been asked to make 10-15 pens for the adult mentors and booster club officers that dedicate so much time to the team so they can participate in the competition.

Their team is 5431 and their robot is the small one with the red bumpers.

With all the talented people in IAP I was wondering if anyone has worked with the FIRST Robotics program?

Perfect place to make pens with gears in them. Could not ask for a better theme for a pen. Decal of the team in the cap also. Could take a photo of the robots and make a decal also. Many ideas. Do not just spin an ordinary pen. Too boring. Time to take a step upward. No better time than now. Challenge yourself. Want to be a pen maker than do it..

Been there, done that

I ran a first team for a couple of years when I was a science teacher. It was a fabulous experience for the kids.
