So...just put this together tonight, but haven't tried it yet. I wanted to try spraying tubes instead of brushing, but wanted to contain the overspray. Built a simple frame that fits inside a box. Hung fishing line (old Spyder Wire) from screws, with half toothpicks tied to the bottom (added a drop of CA to each knot).
The tubes swing more than i'd have thought, though as layers of paint are applied that may settle a bit. If not, i'll replace the fishing line with light wire. If it works, enough room for 10 tubes at once. Spray, pull out, spin, spray other side.
One lesson learned--I should have tied the knots in the fishing line BEFORE spilling CA on my fingers, would have been much easier to feel what I was doing!!
