Desk Sets

Are any pen turners turning desk sets? I would think that it would be a "short hop", from turning individual pens to turning a pen and pencil which would fit into a base. The whole thing would be sort of stationed on one's dest for easy access. The sky would be the limit on how creative one could become with turning a larger piece of whatever was used for the pen and pencil to make the desk piece.

Just an idea.

Chris, some of us have done a few. And some of them have been very nice. James (Fangar) and Scott (Mudder) come to mind, but we're talking about "my" mind and well...[:I]

But I haven't given up on the idea just b/c my first few were just "okay".
