Have any of you seen the commercial with the soldiers returning through a commerical airport? If you have seen it you know the one I speak of. I won't spoil it for the rest of you but it brought tears to my eyes and I had no idea who the sponsor was until the end. I managed to capture it to my computer tonight but I can't figure our how to link it to anyone so just keep watching TV for it unless someone can tell me how to post a video clip on here.

Actually turns out this is from last year's superbowl but I didn't see it until recently, here's a link that should work if you haven't seen it. Just pick a viewer and speed-

Great commercial.
A friend of mine is a Vietnam Vet. (We all know how they were treated when they came home.) He told me about a woman who thanked him for serving our country 30 years after he came home. He broke down and cried since that was the first time anyone had thanked him for serving.
As they say, Freedom isn't Free.
Thanks to all the troops, present, past and future, for protecting our freedom.
And thank you to all the families of those troops.

What a change 40 years has made. We have come a long way since those days of having to go down the stairs to the tarmac so we could be escorted around the terminal to a side gate because somebody might be offended by the sight of someone in uniform.

I hope that never happens again at a US airport. The sad thing is that it could.

Sad irony, Russ; but protecting "that" freedom is what those soldiers were shipping out to protect!!
