At the engineering office I worked at, we had a pen plotter for making plans. It was a lot of fun to watch the plotting being done. It would start plotting a part of the plan, then jump to another part before finishing that first part. Sometime later, it would come back and finish the first part. We were always wondering it it would forget a part of the drawing, but it never did.
