Here it is. 2nd kitless. For a while now I contemplated on making a kitless. I finally did it. The 1st one, I made many mistakes but learned a lot. I made mandrels, threaded plugs and washers in order to minimize blowouts. This may seem obvious to some but it was all a leaning expretience. Thanks to Curly and Duncsuss for their info.
Anyone wanting to make their first kitless, watch RJB Woodturner YouTube videos. He has lots of info. Subscribe to his channel. In his video he uses a 13-.8 thread for the cap. I used a 12-.75. It's a bit thin but doable. I'd go with 13-.8.
