ours was 32 years last week. when we started i told her no long term commitments. id stay 60 years and if i wasnt satisfied, i was leaving. only 28 years to go.

congrats brian, 16 years now days is unusual. happy for you. by the way, dont get complacent. you still have to work at it each day.

I remember the good old days of being single, coming and going as I felt, not having to worry about "calling home" or if their is milk in the fridge. The only concerns I had was bills and beer! I tell you what I would not want to go back to that life! (Nov will be 8 years).

Brian, 16 years is a wonderful accomplishment.

Like a game of tetherball, when two people serve each other first, each year of marriage will go by faster and faster until one of you heads off to Heaven. I remember my 16th like it was just last year... but it was nine years ago.
