No, it isn't the Stanley Cup but I like this one even better!

Saturday, one of our area turning clubs had their annual picnic. Great food, fellowship, activities, show and tell, and a raffle. The raffle consisted of items members brought in and donated. Everyone received a raffle ticket for showing up, one for participating in an activity, and another if they brought something for the raffle. There were turning blocks, turned pieces, carved items and even 3 $20 coupons from Wood Turningz!
I had my eye on a carved, colored cup which was carved by one of our senior members who does some fantastic carving. Well, about 2/3 the way through the raffle, my ticket was called and the cup was still there! I snapped it up quickly.
The cup is hand carved....this guy uses an axe, hatchet, knives, gouges and scrapers...no power tools at all!
The cup is cherry, has a sanded milk paint finish on the outside, natural inside and features a piece of antler on the handle with some carved Viking symbols.
I really enjoy getting a piece of someone else's work now and then! They are special to me.

That is a nice and memorable cup. Hand carved, can't beat that. Looks great too! I would certainly covet that and not let it get away!

Very nice cup indeed. I noticed on your last picture an IAP mug and I've also seen some pictures in the past with T-shirts with the IAP logo. I've searched this website and can't find a listing of where to buy such items. Can you let me know where I could buy a T-shirt? Thanks
