A couple of Brick Walls

I was fortunate enough to be invited to demonstrate my technique of doing a CA finish. Being the guy that I am and having a few extra minutes to spare I threw this blank together to use for my demo. It is walnut with maple veneer mortar. highlighted with some ebony I picked up recently. I had enough left over to make a smaller blank. I used a Atrax component set from Exotic blanks and a Mesa kit I got in trade. Comments and Critiques are welcome and thanks for looking.

I bought a pack of veneer from woodcraft. It has a lot of different woods in it. I have not learned to use it making boxes but I found it makes a great material for segments. So when it is finished the veneer looks like mortar between bricks.
