Default WTB - Mini-lathe Tampa-Sarasota area

I'm headed for Florida next week and I'm still hoping to find a used mini-lathe in the Tampa-Sarasota area so I don't have to carry mine down there. A stand for it would be a plus.

Hi, PMisiaszek.
There is a Fisch Mini with the extension bed listed in our woodturning club's last newsletter (page 9).

By the way, when you come down, our club meets the first Thursday of every month. You can get directions at http://www.fwcwt.org
You are more than welcome to come as a guest/visitor.

Next month's Demo is being done by Lou Feldman, a woodturner who is also a professional photograper. Lou will be teaching us how take professional-looking photos of our work. He will provide us with hints and tricks for lighting, backgrounds, and angles to get the most from our cameras. Lou will also teach us how to construct your own "light box" from inexpensive and readily-available materials.
Bring your digital camera and some of your recent turnings for a hands-on experience from a knowledgable professional!

Look forward to seeing you there.
