Well, I seem to spend more time finding things than using them. Got a great deal on my 10" Atlas a few months ago. Got it cleaned up, bought a few things for it, found a set of change gears, etc. Only to find a better deal on a 12x36 old Craftsman. Same style, but has been converted to gear box for threading, came with all the goodies folks like to find with these. 3 and 4 jaw chucks, face plate, steady and follow rests, taper attachment, milling attachment. Excellent shape except for dusty from sitting in storage. All for $700. On a heavy stand as well. Good part is was able to sell (at least tentativly) the Atlas to fund it! Maybe this one I will stop and use =8^). Will get some pics soon after I clean it up a bit.

It sounded a whole lot better without the picture.

Don't mind me....I just don't get the attraction of these old lathes (or cars). Go figure. You seem happy though, so I'm happy for you!
