Typically speaking Jeweler's Brass is 67% copper and 33% zinc. It's not quite as yellow as yellow brass but is a little bit stronger. I used jeweler's brass quite a bit in my chainmaille projects. Specifically Jeweler's Brass is alloy C226.

The alloy I use mimics 14k gold when polished. It does tarnish but takes a lot longer than red or yellow brass.

I ordered some 260 yesterday from McMaster, and it was on my doorstep when I got home today... impressive. It's not the alloy I wanted, but it should be close enough for the test I intend to run (checking a fiber laser's speed) to get me in the ballpark.
