Got some material for practicing

Well, as the title says, I just got my order from online metals. I got an assortment of A36 steel, aluminum (6061 and 1 piece of 7075), C360 brass, and some 303 stainless. Wouldn't have known about online metals unless I saw the post below regarding materials for practice. Love this forum!

There's a big learning curve on metal lathes that's for sure.

I just got a 7x14. I'm starting with delrin so my mistakes won't be too devastating as I climb the learning curve.

I got some delrin too. Plan on using resin also.

I won't have time soon either unfortunately. Not to mention the lathe is in the unheated garage which isn't exactly turner friendly this time of year!

I'll get to some of it when I finish the Christmas gifts for family!
