Shiny is good! Nope, didn't make the nut. Guess if I had I could have made the threads whatever I wanted! Bought the nut and some collets a couple of years ago. Figured with the way the collet fits the nut I'd leave that to the perfessional fit :)

Looks good. What kind of runout are you getting?

Haven't stuck an indicator on it yet, but it is pretty darn close. I used to could see movement over a couple thou, and it has no visible movement to my eyes, but....... I may need to dial in the compound and take one more skim pass for the collet to seat completely, but I think I'm gonna like it!
