DRO Installed

Went to Mike Roux's(Bluwolf) house yesterday. I fabricated some brackets and helped me mount my new tail stock DRO. There was more to this than I anticipated. But, Mike had the knowledge and equipment to make this a professional looking result. Thanks again Mike. NO MORE marking my drill bits with Sharpies :biggrin:

Fred, it comes with the scale, digital display and some brackets. Mike made the aluminum collar to fit over the piston. I need to post another photo of that piece as, it's behind the live center. I'll go get another photo.

OK, here are some close ups of the piece Mike made and, how we drilled and tapped the tail stock to mount the scale and brackets.

Wow Chuck, your close ups make me realize I've got to make some slitting saw arbors like Ken. The bandsawed clamping slots look terrible close up. They work fine but they sure ain't pretty:frown: Mike

Thanks Mark. The answer to your question is, NO. BECAUSE, I left the chuck key at Mikes house.:redface: But, I am VERY confident that it WILL work just fine.
