SFRB of short pen blanks - Jubillo (some spalted)

These are short pen blanks for use with single barrel pen kits. The measurements are in the last photo. The wood is solid and most are spalted and a few have small worm holes that are easily filled with a drop or two of CA. Two sides and one end shown. Ten blanks total. $20 plus shipping. I just finished turning a small 7" platter from the board that these blanks came from, there is an amazing amount of chatoyance in the wood and it shimmers differently from different angles. There is just no way I could capture it property in a photo, but a little bit of it shows in the picture below. There are also some birdseyes.

The wood is hard and dense, you'll want sharp tools. It sands very easily and finishes beautifully. I used danish oil and it just pops everything about the wood. All the light areas that you see in the heartwood is the reflection of the chatoyance, not sure what else to call it.
