ALL HAVE BEEN SOLD. THANK YOU!

This blank sale is a continuation of: Estate Blanks Fundraiser

All profit goes directly to IAP.

As this was an Estate Sale purchase - IAP makes no guarantee that the blanks are labeled correctly (If I suspect a mislabel, I will note that opinion).

Respond within this thread for the blanks you want.
Payment (Blanks plus postage) is to be made to IAP PayPal (Yellow Box at top of screen).
PM me (Mark James) your name and mailing address.
I will confirm with Jeff that payment has beed received.
I will then PM you back with confirmation of your order and USPS tracking.

SFRB = $7.15
MFRB = $13.60

Special sizes and non-USA sales will be priced and sent to you for consideration

Numbered Blanks:

#1-7: Striped Tiger Oak. 15/16" x 5 1/4". $1.50/each
#8-15: Lacewood. 1" x 5 1/2". $1.50/each
#16-22: Lacewood. 3/4" - 5 1/4"-6". $1.50/each
#23-30: Catalapa. 3/4" x 5 1/2". $ .75/each
#31-34. Sindora Burl. 3/4" x 5 1/2". $2.00/each (NOTE: Each of these have cracks. I'm not an expert, but I suspect these should be used for casting. Solid, they would be beautiful; but I doubt they can be drilled/turned successfully without "extreme measures.") See the end pictures, they are on the left. SOLD[/COLOR]
#35-39. Redwood Burl. 7/8" x 5 1/2". $2.00 each. These have minimal burl inclusions, but are solid in my opinion; I would not hesitate to drill and turn, but there may be a few inclusions to fill, or leave as your desire. See the end picture - they are on the right. SOLD
#40-45: Black Redwood Burl. 3/4" x 5". $2.00 SOLD

Nonsequential numbering: This is the last picture!

#1,2,5,8,9,10,13: Locust Burl. 3/4" x 5 1/2". $3.50/each
Single Curly Bubinga. 3/4" x 5". $4.00 SOLD

Non numbered: This is the second and third to last picture :crying:

Burmese Rosewood: I have about 215 of these! They are all waxed, and were purchased in 2005. The are typical Rosewood with red/brown coloration. They range in size from 3/4" - 5" minimum, to 7/8" x 5 1/2" maximum.

How about a deal: 1-9 = $1.75/each. 10-19 = $1.50/each. 20+ = $1.25/each

NOTE: Although I hope to sell these, I will mention that if you are allergic to any timbers, or have become sensitized to any, consider passing on this species. However, if you work with Rosewood and appreciate it beauty, have at it! (Just want to be mindful of safety, and allergies are a safety concern, stay healthy my friends!).

Turners beware!
Catalpa wood stinks to high heaven when it's turned.
Wet or dry, it fricking stinks.
I've smelled it for myself.
I will reserve my saltier comments because this is a family forum.

I now return you to your regularly scheduled thread.:tongue:

That's good to know Herb!

The wooddatabase is a bit more tolerant: Catalpa | The Wood Database - Lumber Identification (Hardwood)

I have not turned it yet, so I will bow to your experience. Besides, after my sinus surgery I really can't smell or taste much :redface: Maybe a real stinky blank would be good for me!!!!!

Cheers Mate!

Mark, If still available, I'll take the 1-7 of the Striped Tiger Oak and then if you would, fill the box with the Burmese Rosewood and let me know the total.

Thank you
