I and a friend have bought all except the diamond detailer and the handle. These are quality tools and work awesome. Well made and very clean on all surfaces. Give em a try I think you will be happy. I and my partner in crime sure are. Thanks John good stuff at a great price.

$7.15 1 or more. I can get a couple in a padded envelope after that I put them in a box and I cover the additional shipping if there is any.

Only thing if you bought tools over about a month ago I can't guarantee that the tang will fit. You might have to rework the tang to get it to fit.

The new tool bars are size to fit the handle.

Have a couple new tool styles,

one on the left uses the mini inserts the SQ and 2"/50mm Radius on a 3/8" stainless bar.

I should have some made up in the next week on the Square ad round bar.
The inserts are the same size that are used on the Easy Start Tools.
Not sure what all tools that the inserts will fit right yet.

Tool on the right is a Square roughing insert turned 45degrees.
Another tool used for doing detail work. Cuts a wider groove than the standard diamond detailer.

I Will not be taking any orders for a couple weeks, I ended up in the Hospital Friday night with appendicitis and they took my appendix out this morning.

So I will be out of the shop for a couple weeks.

Thanks Herb.

2 O'clock Friday had some upper abdominal pain think it was lunch that was causing it.

Went to work and the pain didn't get any better then about 8 it started hurting more than started getting a slight stabbing pain on the lower right. Talked to a supervisor that was a nurse and she was thinking it could be the appendix but was sure.

Left work at 9 for home talked to the wife and decide to go to the er and pain started getting bad they gave me morphine for the pain and at 2am talked too the surgeon about removing it in the morning.

They took it out everything went good. Except they had to put a catheter in during the surgery then removed it before waking up. Only thing is this is the first time I had a catheter didn't warn me about going to the bathroom that hurt worse than the appendix pain.

Hopefully I will be released Sunday and may be out if work 4-6 weeks.

Wow....sorry to hear about your pain. Had my appendix out a few years back. Luckily I caught it early. They did a few minor cuts to the belly and pulled it out that way. Was actually back up on my feet next day walking the dogs. Slight pain, but pain nonetheless.

Get back on your feet soon...the faster the better for healing.

If I only buy one, which one is the most versitile?

For basic pen turning I mainly use the rougher with the 4"/100mm insert. There are different inserts radius you can change on the rougher.

For larger stuff I started with the rougher then go to different size of finishers.

My goodies showed up in the post the other day, why oh why did I wait so long?? They shave off the pen blanks so smooth.
Saved on great tools now can save by not buying extra sanding supplies.
Thanks Hanau

For simple pen turning, I am looking at a rougher only. I know next to nothing about which ones would be preferable other than to say that I have medium size hands if that helps. Would you recommend which one and give me a price including delivery to Ararat in Victoria Australia please?
