Group #6 added on Post #11. All stabilized and amazing and Post #21 for more Buckeye, Cherry and details on Black Locust Burl & Cedar
Up for grabs today are some beautiful blanks. All blanks moistened with water to show the color you can expect when finished. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p> All shipments are via USPS Flat Rate w/ Delivery Confirmation, due to these being larger blanks it will likely be a padded Flat Rate Envelope. If you want insurance please let me know and I will let you know how much. <o:p></o:p> Please post which ones you are claiming by stating the Group Number and the Blank Numbers. <o:p></o:p> About the Burls:<o:p></o:p> These are burls as you know them and require special care to turn them. They can have slight Checks, Bark Inclusions and some Punkie Spots. If you want a blank but have questions claim it and PM me. You can always remove it from you post if need be. I have done my best to show these spots in the pics. <o:p></o:p> All blanks are a minimum of 5” long. Many are much longer. The reason is I would rather give the extra to you instead of turning it into shop drop.<o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> Some blanks have an Arrow pointing to a flaw I want to point out. I want you to be 100% satisfied with your order, if you are not please pm me so I can make it right. They have wonderful figure with eyes to boot.<o:p></o:p> 1-15 are 1” @ $3.00 each These got a little out of order. New Pic uploaded to show the numbers more clearly. SEE POST #21 BLB.jpg Group 4 - Elm Burl<o:p></o:p> This was a great find and all I got. It has a wonderful chocolate color. I have not tested to see if a CA coated one will stay this color. I see it like Flame BEB, the Red will fade some day and likely so will this purple. I just want to be straight up and honest.
