Anyone have a cutting burr that's taking up space suitable for cupping out a wooden spoon Thanks Jeff
Jeff, You need a scorp! See Moor's Chipping Away in Kitchener.

I guess you want to use a Foredom or the like!

Richard Raffan calls them ladles and has a chapter on the topic in his newer book More Woodturning Projects.

Peter Sellers has a You Tube video on using a 35 mm carving gouge to hollow.

Some use a large plunge router bit with a jig to hog out the bowl of the spoon

Angle grinders with wood carving carbide burrs are used.
