Hello everyone,

I made the unfortunate discovery last night, that I am severely allergic to this lacewood. Fortunately I only made 3 cuts with my table saw, and didn't try turning it. As a result I am hoping to trade my lacewood for pen kits or a different wood. Besides the piece shown in the pictures, I have the pen sized pieces I cut yesterday that I will throw in. I have had this piece sitting in my shop for about 12 hours. It was originally purchased from Macbeath's hardwood in Salt Lake City. It was lightly misted for these pictures.

Did you ever get a trade? I would be willing to trade for it. One thing I can swap is Alaska coaxtal rainforest wood. Sitka spruce, western hemlock, red alder, mountain ash. I also have smaller pieces of sitka willow (salix sitchensis), elderberry and rhododendron as well as a few pieces of mountain ash burl.
