I just received some custom tool rests and posst from Rick - outstanding workmanship as usual.

Bought two of each:

  • 2.5 inch rests for small barrels like the top of the Graduate and many others.
  • 4.25 inch rests for Long Clicker styles and most other kits.
Nice rounded surface for sliding HSS across.

+1 for Rick's Rests! i bought a 3.5" flat top rest and post and it works perfectly for using carbide tools.

I'm looking for a smaller 5/8" tool rest as well. The 6" I'm using sometimes is too big when turning short items. WhaT do you suggest and how do I find Ricks stuff. I use carbide tools for most pen blanks. Thanks.
