I made a couple of waste antle blanks that have gotten very positive reviews.

I am wondering if there is any market for them? I plan on making at least one more batch for a couple friends, but I have an option on a decent sized pile of bits to produce them en masse.

I have two fundamental questions:

1: Would people buy these at a $7-$8 price point?

2: What colors of resin would people like to see?

Seems like a novel and different approach, your price doesn't sound bad, but I'm wondering what the customer impact would be. I think that where ever deer or antler pens aren't seen much they would be a hit, but where there is an abundance of good antler and or a lot of deer, maybe not so good, But I think it looks kind of nice.

My thought on that front is that it provides more personalization than plain antler. Much the same way that waste wood castings are popular despite there being no shortage of good wood.

I personally prefer the antler/resin combo to a plain antler. I would not consider myself a useful data point though. I feel that paying $20 for a pen is laughable. That said, I have no problem selling them to people who are willing to pay more.
