The pros
* Upgraded to a 16" bed making it a 7x16
* Upgraded steel head gears
* Quick change tool post with 2 tool holders, a cutoff blade holder and blade and a boring bar holder (4 holders total and a handful of tools)
* Little Machine Shop quick release tail stock
* Little Machine Shop carriage stop
* Full set of change gears including the gear for metric pitch
* Hand crank that can be inserted into the spindle for doing manual threading
The cons
* Needs new brushes for the motor - occasionally hits a dead spot when stopped requiring a bit of fiddling to get started again.
* Omitted the OEM fuse and never replaced it
* Rocker power switch (the lit one) needs to be replaced - occasionally needs a few flicks to get it to turn on.
* Case has various casting drips from Brooks and shows wear.
It shouldn't take much to whip it back into shape though and the price reflects the upgrades and the problems.
