Hi all.....
I hope someone reads this message.!
I am in need of some critical advice. I am a lathe Turner and have been for the past couple of years. Now I would like to make my own pens etc from resin.
The question is:
Do I have to have a pressure pot for this or can I use an old pressure cooker?
I know that I will also need an Air Compressor, that's not the problem. It's the cost of the pressure pot that I can't really afford......
Can anyone assist me please.
Sorry, just to let you all know that I . Am new to this forum and also disabled. So I don't have much else to do.

Thank you for your support in advance.
Mark.

Absolutely NO pressure cooker! You don't need a pressure pot, but it helps. My pots came from people that used them for paint or varnish - found them on internet ads.

I found them listed as paint pots.

I do a lot of "tube in" casting and don't even use my pressure cooker. Instead, I use a warm oven (or outside in 105+ degree weather).
